The BMW X5 takes up the new design language of BMW and interprets it in its own way as an SUV. The front is upright and distinctive, with unique double X icons and the illuminated BMW kidney Iconic Glow. Viewed side-on, the characteristic BMW X proportions and the long roofline make it appear powerful and elegant at the same time. Without visible door handles, the large surfaces in the side view form an imposing, monolithic sculpture. The rear has a wide, confident stance on the road.
Touch to open or close.
Sometimes it's what you can't see that makes the biggest impression. With no visible handles, the exquisitely crafted door surfaces appear as if sculpted from a single block. A gentle touch of the ergonomically perfected winglets is enough to open or close the optional automatic doors electrically, giving you an entirely new entry experience. Of course, the doors can also be opened mechanically at any time.
Ready for big plans.
Do you have a lot of plans? The {model.description} gives you the space to do it. Its spacious interior can accommodate up to five adults and plenty of luggage. Thanks to a trailer load/trailer nose weight of {techdata.trailerLoad} kg² the SUV easily pulls trailers for things like boats or horse.

The driver-focussed BMW Panoramic iDrive display and operating system with BMW Operating System X ensures greater safety and comfort. On the BMW Panoramic Vision, you can see driving data and preferred content at a glance. Together with the Central Display in free-cut design, the standard BMW 3D Head-Up Display and the BMW multifunction steering wheel, important information and functions are always ready. Streaming, gaming and video calls combine entertainment with productivity. Naturally, this wide range of features is also available to the front passenger on the optional Passenger Screen.

Thanks to a wide range of streaming services, every journey is an invitation to continue your favourite series. Front passengers can watch in Full HD quality on their own display in a free-cut design, the optional BMW Passenger Screen. When stationary, you can also stream on the Central Display.

Technology meets gaming fun. During breaks in a journey, you can reach new high scores or challenge your fellow passengers. Just use your smartphone or Bluetooth controller to do so.³
Seamless connectivity on the road.
Take part in video conferences on the go, even without a smartphone, such as for a business meeting or a spontaneous catch-up with friends. When stationary, you can make video calls via the Central Display. When driving off, the sound remains active but the picture switches off automatically. Your front passenger can also make video calls on the BMW Passenger Screen⁴ while the car is in motion.

Brightness creates space. The two-square-metre, two-part panoramic glass sunroof comes as standard and floods the interior of the BMW X5 with light. For more sun, fresh air and a feeling of freedom, simply open the front section of the roof at the touch of a button, voice command or with the My BMW App.⁵

The luggage compartment of the {model.description} offers plenty of space for luggage and everything you want to take with you on your journey. Need more room? The controls for the seat position and backrest, as well as other elements, are made of fine crystal glass – a sparkling highlight in the interior. The system makes steering and braking easier for you. The Driving Assistant Plus can detect and automatically adapt to speed limits, and even adapts the speed as needed when approaching corners, roundabouts and junctions. Park safely and easily in even the tightest parking spaces with 360° view. The Parking Assistant Plus offers expanded parking views to keep an eye on all sides of the vehicle and your surroundings. Repeated parking manoeuvres can be saved and performed semi-automatically at any time. Petrol engine or electric motor? Choose both. In the BMW X5 50e xDrive, two drive systems generating a total of 360 kW⁶, ⁷ give you the best of both worlds. The combustion engine can handle long distances effortlessly, while the locally emission-free electric drive with a range of up to 102 km (WLTP)⁶, ⁸ offers ample freedom in urban environments. The BMW X5 50e xDrive will be available to order from 2027.

The efficient petrol engine in the BMW X5 50e xDrive plug-in hybrid is complemented by an electric motor of the latest generation. For more powerful acceleration at the lights or up to 102 km⁶, ⁸ without local emissions and almost silent.
Charge the battery quickly and conveniently at home.
Thanks to the individual charging solutions from BMW, you can charge your BMW X5 plug-in hybrid quickly and easily at home. For example, using the BMW Wallbox Plus. With a home charging cable such as the Flexible Fast Charger or the Multifunction Charger, you can also charge at a domestic socket outlet or a CEE industrial socket with a charging power of up to 11 kW.
